MVRDC a premier educational institution of the ANDHRA University was established in 1991 by a group of young research scholars working at different places led by Dr.V.RamaRao. Their commitment to the cause of education was not merely philanthropic but was integral to their idea of nation building. Today MVRDC has evolved into a gateway to excellence.

The professional involvement of the staff in different academic activities reflected the heights of knowledge to meet the challenges in the future world. The college cares for the individual development of each and every student through mentor system. We give prime importance to the behavioral discipline, moral integrity and cognitive developments of our students. NSS, Physical Education, Career Guidance Cell, placement cell and other statutory and non statutory committees offer integrated services for the multi–facetted developments of our students. Our teachers strive to teach not only academic programs but also life skills needed for students’ self development.
The students achieve capacity builders by providing them excellent academic environment, state of-the-art infrastructure, state-of-the-art laboratories and dedicated and highly qualified faculty members with decades of teaching experience. To refine the necessary attitude, aptitude and skills to achieve placements in corporate sector, the Institute is supportive to the students by arranging CRT CLASSES. Our students benefit from a placement cell that works with the individual students throughout the year.
The students participate in many social activities that allows them to transform lives around them. 
Like the rest of the Nation, MVRDC has faced the formidable challenge of the Covid-19 pandemic. It has brought to the fore the need for online education. The College has taken all possible steps to ensure that this transition is a smooth one for the faculty as well as students. Teaching-Learning is at the core of the institutional ethos. We follow a student-centric approach. Teachers are trained to bring social change. The College has focused on digital inclusivity.
MVRDC stands for Leadership with Social Responsibility. As an example of our commitment to social responsibility, MVRDC offers very liberal, need-based fee-concession and organizing medical camps, voluntary blood donation camps etc., .
