Objectives :

 The academic council shall have the powers to

1. Scrutinize & approve the proposals with or without modifications of the board of studies with regard to courses of study, academic regulations , curricula, syllabi & modifications thereof ,instructional & evaluation arrangements , methods, procedures relevant thereto etc., provided.
2. It prepares regulations regarding the admissions of the students to different programmes  of study  in the college as per the rules & regulations of the government.
3. It prepares regulations for sports, extracurricular activities and proper maintenance and functioning of the playground and hostels.
4. It recommends the proposals for new programs of study to the Governing Body.
5. Recommend the Governing body institution of the scholarships , Studentships, fellowships, prizes & medals and to frame regulations for the award of the same.
